Mark Hayes

Mark Hayes brings three decades of experience as a pianist, composer, and conductor to his prolific catalog of over 1,750 published works. A summa cum laude graduate of Baylor University's piano program, Hayes has guest conducted at Lincoln Center, the National Cathedral, and Carnegie Hall, and earned the 2010 Award for Exemplary Leadership in Christian Music from his alma mater. His range spans sacred choral music, orchestration, musical theater, and an extensive catalog of piano works that touch gospel, classical, jazz, and popular idioms.

Beyond the concert hall, Hayes has conducted world premieres of his own compositions, including his Requiem at both Lincoln Center and the Vatican, and orchestrated musicals that have won festival recognition. His work for treble and mixed voices has been performed internationally, from Hong Kong to Rome.
