About the Composer: Davide A. Pedrazzini

Davide A. Pedrazzini was born in Lodi, Italy in 1981 and discovered music at age 11 through study of saxophone and clarinet. He later formalized his training, earning degrees in Composition from the Conservatorio of Piacenza and in Band Arranging from the Conservatorio of Parma, while also pursuing conducting studies with respected pedagogues including José Rafael Pascual Vilaplana, Lorenzo Della Fonte, and Angelo Bolciaghi.

Pedrazzini has established himself as both conductor and composer across Europe and North America. His competition record includes the 2023 Grand Prize at the Grand Mesa Young Band Composition Contest in Colorado. His catalog spans multiple international publishers, from Baton Music and AM Music Publishing in the Netherlands to Alfred Music and Grand Mesa Music Publishers in the United States. He currently teaches band arranging, composition, and conducting at the Conservatory of Udine and composition for music education at the Conservatory of Livorno.
