Tyler S. Grant

Tyler S. Grant has built a reputation as a prolific composer whose work appears regularly on honor ensemble and all-state programs across North America. His compositions have earned national recognition, including a 2014 win in the Dallas Wind Symphony's "Call for Fanfares" Competition, and his music is performed at prestigious venues ranging from Carnegie Hall to the Meyerson Symphony Center to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Over the past decade, Grant has balanced an active composing and arranging schedule with extensive clinical work, bringing his expertise to more than 100 school music programs and honor groups across fifteen states. He holds a degree in instrumental music education from the University of Alabama, where he studied conducting with Randall Coleman, and credits mentor Brian Balmages as central to his development as a composer.
