Andy Beck directs choral publications at Alfred Music and has composed and arranged over 450 choral works now in active circulation. His output spans secular chorals, vocal resources, children's musicals, and foundational texts including Sing at First Sight and Vocalize! 45 Vocal Warm-Ups That Teach Technique. His music reaches singers on every continent, and he regularly appears as guest conductor, adjudicator, and clinician for honor choirs, all-state groups, and regional music education programs.
A tenor himself, Beck performs with the North Carolina Master Chorale Chamber Choir and has worked as an Alfred Music studio singer since 1992. He holds degrees in Music Education from Ithaca College and Northwest Missouri State University, and his work across composition, publication curation, and advocacy for choral artistry reflects a sustained commitment to music literacy and ensemble excellence.
