About the Arranger: Jack Bullock

Jack Bullock brings decades of practical music-making experience to his work as a composer and arranger. His background spans performance (trumpet with major orchestras and touring ensembles), classroom teaching (20 years of instrumental music instruction), and higher education, where he served as assistant band director at Ithaca College and chaired the Music Education Department. His output includes more than 600 published works across concert band, orchestra, jazz ensemble, and marching band.

Bullock's educational credentials and involvement with major curriculum projects reflect his commitment to pedagogical clarity. He co-authored the Belwin 21st Century Band Method and contributed arrangements to Music Expressions, Alfred Music's comprehensive school music curriculum. His work has been recognized by ASCAP (member since 1980) and appears in Who's Who in Entertainment and Media Communications. Throughout his career, he has conducted clinics and workshops internationally, sharing his expertise with musicians across North America and beyond.
