Patti Drennan

Patti Drennan's career spans three decades of choral music education in Oklahoma public schools, where she built four consistently superior-rated choirs at Norman High School and earned Teacher of the Year honors at West Mid-High School. She holds degrees in music education from Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma, and received the Director of Distinction Award from the Oklahoma Choral Directors Association in 2004.

As a prolific composer and arranger with over 425 published octavos and two million copies in circulation, Drennan has shaped choral music across nineteen states, Canada, and major venues including Carnegie Hall. Since retiring from classroom teaching, she has devoted herself to composing, leading music reading sessions for publishers, conducting composer weekends nationwide, and performing with her daughter, a musical theater performer in New York City, through RoxSteady Music and various symphonic collaborations.
