Andy Beck directs choral publications at Alfred Music and has composed and arranged more than 450 works for singers of all ages. His output spans popular octavos, children's musicals, and instructional resources like Sing at First Sight and Vocalize! 45 Vocal Warm-Ups That Teach Technique. A trained tenor with degrees from Ithaca College and Northwest Missouri State University, Beck has served as a guest conductor, choreographer, and clinician across the United States and has worked with honor choirs and all-state ensembles throughout the Southeast.

Beyond composition, Beck remains active as a performer, adjudicator, and musical theatre director. His work with the North Carolina Master Chorale Chamber Choir and his long tenure as an Alfred Music studio singer since 1992 ground his understanding of what singers need. His dual commitment to choral artistry and music literacy shapes every publication he stewards for Alfred's catalog.
