English-speaking people are becoming more aware of the rich and varied musical heritage of Christmas from other countries. This traditional French carol has charmed audiences for many years. Even today, both the French and English translations are learned by young children in our schools. Once learned, we carry it throughout our lifetime. This is a beautiful setting by Douglas Wagner of a lovely melody.
