About the Arranger: Jack Bullock
Jack Bullock has established himself across multiple roles in music: as a trumpet performer with the Miami Philharmonic Orchestra and Miami Opera Company, as an educator who spent two decades teaching instrumental music in school settings and seven years as assistant band director at Ithaca College's School of Music, and as a prolific composer and arranger with over 600 publications to his name. His work spans concert band, orchestra, jazz ensemble, and marching band literature, and he served as chair of Ithaca College's Music Education Department while also co-authoring the Belwin 21st Century Band Method and contributing arrangements to Alfred Music's Music Expressions curriculum.
Bullock's education includes undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees in Music Education, with trumpet study under Harry Glantz, James Ode, and Craig McHenry. He has been an ASCAP member since 1980 and has conducted clinics and workshops throughout the United States, Canada, and England. His recognition includes listings in Marquis Who's Who in the Media and Communications and Who's Who in Entertainment.
