Vicki Tucker Courtney

Vicki Tucker Courtney began piano studies at age four and pursued advanced training in choral accompaniment at North Texas State University, where she developed the skills that would shape her compositional voice. Over a career spanning decades, she has built an extensive catalog of works for choir, piano, handbells, and solo voice; her prolific output has earned her multiple ASCAP Plus Awards, and she studied composition under the mentorship of Dove Award winner Mark Hayes in 2002 and 2004. By 2009, she had published 100 titles, and by 2017 that number had grown to over 350. She continues to compose full time from her home in Columbia, Tennessee, while also teaching piano and composition to students of all ages.
