About the Arranger: Tom Fettke
Tom Fettke has spent over five decades creating choral music that works in real rehearsal rooms and real worship spaces. A veteran of both public school music education and church music leadership, he brings deep understanding of what singers need and what congregations respond to. His creative output spans hundreds of published works and recordings, and his hymnal projects have placed millions of copies in churches worldwide.
Beyond his prolific composing and arranging, Fettke shaped contemporary worship music as creator and Senior Editor of The Hymnal for Worship and Celebration and The Celebration Hymnal. He holds degrees from Oakland City College and California State University at Hayward, earned a California Lifetime Music Credential in Secondary Music, and directed choral activities for the Redwood Christian School System. His work reflects the perspective of someone who has actually stood in front of both school and church ensembles, understanding the musical and spiritual demands of both contexts.
