About the Arranger: Sally K. Albrecht
Sally K. Albrecht has spent decades shaping choral music in American schools and concert halls. Since 1987, she has received consecutive ASCAP Special Music Awards and published over 600 choral works alongside 75 larger musicals and songbooks. Her conducting has led honor choirs at prestigious venues including Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and The Kennedy Center, while her editorial vision shaped choral catalogs at major educational publishers, including Alfred Music, where she directed school choral and vocal publications for more than thirty years.
Holding degrees from Rollins College (B.A. in Music and Theater, 1976), the University of Miami (M.A. in Drama, 1977; M.M. in Accompanying, 1979), Albrecht has taught at Oakland University, Jersey City State College, and Meredith College. She served as Chair of the Board of Trustees for Omicron Delta Kappa and received the society's "Pillar of Leadership" award. In 2021, both the University of Miami Frost School of Music and Rollins College honored her with Distinguished Alumna Awards.
