Donald Moore earned his Bachelor of Music in organ performance and Master of Arts in Teaching from Kent State University. He has served as Organist-Choirmaster at Pilgrim United Church of Christ in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and maintains an active career as a composer and arranger across multiple genres and formats.

With more than 500 published works across Alfred Music, Hal Leonard, Heritage Music Press, and other major publishers, Moore has built a catalog spanning sacred and secular choral music, educational works, and instrumental pieces. His compositions appear regularly at state and regional festivals, and he is a seventeen-time recipient of the ASCAP Composers Standard Award. The American Choral Directors Association recognized him as one of 400 significant composers in American choral music history.
