Rossano Galante studied trumpet performance at SUNY Buffalo before earning acceptance to the University of Southern California's prestigious Film Scoring Program in 1992, where he studied under Academy Award winner Jerry Goldsmith. Since relocating to California in 1999, he has established himself as an orchestrator and composer, collaborating with Oscar-nominated composers and contributing orchestrations to over eighty feature films spanning action, animation, and horror genres.

Beyond his film work, Galante maintains an active presence in concert music, receiving commissions from bands and orchestras worldwide. His catalog includes more than 68 published compositions across multiple publishers, reflecting a versatility that spans both cinematic and concert hall contexts.
