About the Composer: Nathan Farrell

Nathan Farrell brings nearly three decades of classroom experience to his work as a composer and educator. His compositions for band and choir have appeared on the J.W. Pepper Editor's Choice List, and his "Fanfare Brillante" was selected as a test piece for the International Trombone Association quartet contest. Farrell studied composition with James Curnow at Asbury University and earned his Master of Education degree from the University of South Florida.

Farrell's creative energy extends beyond the page. His marching band program at Northside Christian School has won the Florida Marching Band Championships title nine times, and he has been inducted into the Florida Marching Band Championship Hall of Fame. Published by Curnow Music Press, Excelcia Music Publishing, The Salvation Army, and Alfred Music, his works reflect an innovative and dynamic approach that resonates with students and colleagues. He remains an active member of the Florida Bandmasters Association.
