Daniel Glass

Daniel Glass is a drummer, author, and historian whose career spans both performance and education. He has recorded and performed with artists including Brian Setzer, Bette Midler, Liza Minnelli, and Gene Simmons, and has served as the Monday night house drummer at New York's legendary Birdland Jazz Club since 2010. His published work includes five books, three DVDs, and numerous articles exploring American musical heritage.

As an educator, Glass has delivered more than 300 clinics, master classes, and seminars on the evolution of American music. He teaches history and music courses to homeschool communities across the Northeast and has built a reputation for helping students understand the continuum connecting contemporary popular music to its historical roots.
