Vicki Tucker Courtney began piano study at age four and developed her craft through rigorous classical training. Her time at North Texas State University deepened her skills in choral accompaniment, setting the foundation for a prolific career as a composer and arranger across multiple genres and ensembles.

Courtney's output spans choral music, piano, handbells, and solo voice works. Recognized annually with ASCAP Plus Awards, she has published over 350 titles since reaching her first 100 in 2009. She studied composition under Mark Hayes, a Dove Award winner, and now works full time as a composer while maintaining a private teaching studio in Columbia, Tennessee.
