About the Arranger: Lon Beery

Lon Beery directs six choruses at Spry Middle School in Webster, New York, working with roughly 500 students across multiple grade levels. His arrangements and compositions have been published through Alfred Music, BriLee, and other major choral publishers, and his work has reached audiences far beyond the classroom, including a performance by the U.S. Army Chorus at a presidential service.

Beyond his arranging work, Beery contributes regularly to the choral education community through articles in Choral Journal and Music Educators Journal, presentations at state and national ACDA and MENC conferences, and his leadership role as Middle School Chair for New York ACDA. His compositions have earned multiple ASCAP Standard Awards.
