Earlene Rentz brings three decades of choral experience to her work as a composer and arranger. She spent seven years teaching choral music across elementary, junior high, and high school settings, then moved into higher education where she taught choral music education courses for twelve years. Her deep knowledge of how singers develop and what works in real rehearsal rooms informs every piece she writes.

Based in North Carolina, Rentz has established herself as one of the most prolific choral composers working today, with over 700 published compositions across 17 different publishers. She has guest conducted All-State Choirs in Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, and Alabama, giving her direct insight into what resonates with singers at the highest levels of achievement.
