Fanfare and Processional

John Cacavas continues to provide band directors with an outstanding selection of works at all levels. This new composition, with a decidedly British flair, is a sparkling example of his excellent compositional talents. The combination of brassy fanfares and elegant legato themes is extremely effective, and the contrast between the energetic opening, stately processional and powerful ending makes for a very dramatic work. A great concert closer or graduation feature. (Grade 3)
