June C. Montgomery

June C. Montgomery earned her degree from Florida State University and has spent more than two decades teaching private piano while also serving in elementary school music classrooms. Her work in schools earned her recognition as an Outstanding Elementary Teacher of America and membership in Delta Kappa Gamma.

Beyond the studio, Montgomery has shaped music education through numerous publications with Alfred Publishing, including the FUNdamental Musicianship Skills series, the Piano Camp series, and Theory Through the Year. She has collaborated with respected educators Maurice Hinson and Martha Mier on comprehensive learning resources. Her contributions extend to the music education community through clinician work at state and district conventions, the Glover International Workshop, and MTNA conferences. Montgomery remains active as a pianist and children's choir director in her church and serves as carillonneur at the Stephen Foster Memorial.
