About the Arranger: Carol Brittin Chambers
Carol Brittin Chambers founded Aspenwood Music, LLC and currently serves on the music faculty at Texas Lutheran University in San Antonio, Texas. She receives commissions annually for concert band, marching band, orchestra, and chamber ensembles, with her works appearing on the J.W. Pepper Editor's Choice List and Bandworld Top 100. Her arrangements and compositions have been performed at major conferences including the Midwest Clinic, and she won the 2019 WBDI Composition Competition.
Chambers brings two decades of teaching experience from the North East Independent School District, where she led band programs at the middle and high school levels. She holds a Master of Music in Trumpet Performance from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Music Education from Texas Tech University, with study under Vincent Cichowicz, John Paynter, and Arnold Jacobs. She continues to perform with regional orchestras including the San Antonio and Mid-Texas Symphonies.
