Tyler S. Grant

Tyler S. Grant has established himself as a prolific voice in band music, with commissions and new publications flowing steadily since 2010. His compositions appear regularly on state and all-state honor ensemble programs, and his work Panoramic Fanfare won the Dallas Wind Symphony's 2014 Call for Fanfares Competition before gaining performances across North America by both collegiate and professional ensembles.

Beyond the composer's desk, Grant actively conducts and clinics with school programs nationwide, having worked with over 100 ensembles across 15 states. His experience spans The Midwest Clinic, all-state bands in multiple regions, and major venues including Carnegie Hall and the Meyerson Symphony Center. A University of Alabama graduate in instrumental music education, he studied conducting with Randall Coleman and credits mentor Brian Balmages as central to his development as a composer.
