About the Composer: Douglas E. Wagner
Douglas E. Wagner studied composition and music education at Butler University, earning both undergraduate and graduate degrees. After thirty years directing music programs in high schools, he transitioned to full-time composition, a shift that has yielded more than 3,500 published works across virtually every ensemble and genre imaginable.
Wagner's catalog spans concert bands, orchestras, choirs, handbell ensembles, organ, piano, and vocal works. His music has traveled far beyond the United States, appearing in concert halls and on broadcasts internationally. More than seventeen million copies of his compositions have been purchased since 1973. He lives in Indianapolis with his wife, Sandy.
