About the Composer: Randall Standridge
Randall Standridge studied music education and composition at Arkansas State University, where he worked with Dr. Tom O'Connor and Dr. Tim Crist. He directed the band program at Harrisburg High School in Arkansas from 2001 to 2013 before transitioning to full-time composition and marching arts design.
Standridge's concert band works have earned significant recognition, including multiple selections for J.W. Pepper's Editor's Choice and performances at the Midwest Clinic. Three of his compositions appear in the Teaching Music Through Performance in Band series. His music is published through Randall Standridge Music, Alfred Music, and FJH Music, and he remains active as a drill designer, arranger, and colorguard designer for the marching arts. He lives in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
