Joseph M. Martin holds degrees in piano performance from Furman University and the University of Texas at Austin, where he also taught in the Piano Pedagogy Department for five years. His performance resume spans solo recitals, collaborations with orchestras across the United States and Mexico, and a featured performance with the Guadalajara Symphony Orchestra following his win in the Nina Plant Wideman Competition.
Martin's career has evolved from concert stages like Carnegie Hall toward a deeper focus on church music and worship settings. His compositions and arrangements now reach audiences in hundreds of congregations across North America, alongside conference presentations for church musicians. He lives in Austin, Texas with his family.
