About the Arranger: Chris Sharp
Chris Sharp holds a Ph.D. and has built a career spanning performance, arrangement, and education. His eleven years as a trombonist and band leader at Walt Disney World shaped his distinctive approach to accessible, engaging music. Since 1984, he has arranged and orchestrated for Disney parks worldwide, creating music for live shows, recordings, and national broadcasts while also composing for major clients including Universal Studios, the Boston Pops, and the USAF Airmen of Note.
Sharp's work as a music educator reflects the same clarity and craftsmanship that define his compositions and arrangements. He has taught at middle school, high school, and college levels, serves as Director of Bands at Polk State College in Winter Haven, and regularly appears as a clinician and guest conductor. His concert and jazz band works have earned multiple ASCAP Plus awards and continue to be performed across the country, including regular presentations at the Midwest Clinic.
