About the Arranger: Joseph M. Martin
Joseph M. Martin studied piano performance at Furman University and earned his master's degree from the University of Texas at Austin, where he later taught in the Piano Pedagogy Department for five years. His performance credentials include solo recitals across the United States and Mexico, a featured artist appearance with the Guadalajara Symphony Orchestra following his win in the Nina Plant Wideman Competition, and a nationally broadcast solo recital from Ex-convento del Carman.
Today Martin remains active as both performer and composer, channeling his gifts primarily into church music and conferences for church musicians. His works have been heard in venues ranging from Carnegie Hall to hundreds of worship spaces across North America, reflecting his commitment to creating music that serves the spiritual life of congregations. He lives in Austin, Texas with his wife Sue and their children Jonathan and Aubrey.
