Donna Brink Fox

Donna Brink Fox holds the Eisenhart Professorship of Music Education at the Eastman School of Music, where she directs the Early Childhood Music Program and has shaped the institution's approach to music learning for the youngest students. Her work as an international consultant has taken her across the U.S. and Australia, leading workshops and contributing scholarship to publications including the Music Educators Journal, American Music Teacher, and the International Journal of Music Education. She earned degrees from Calvin College, Ohio University, and Ohio State University, and her research centers on how young children develop musical understanding.

Brink Fox co-authored the Classroom Music for Little Mozarts curriculum and has contributed to widely-used music education resources including the TONEY Listens to Music software and Music and You series. She was featured in MENC's Promising Practices in Pre-Kindergarten Music and has presented at major conferences including Chamber Music America, ISME, and MTNA. Her teaching excellence earned her the Eisenhart Award for Excellence in Teaching in 1996.
