Cinematic Escapades: String Orchestra, Conductor Score

Cinematic Escapades is an action-packed three-movement work for string orchestra with "just a touch" of percussion -- timpani, bells, snare drum, and suspended cymbal -- that can be played by as few as two percussionists. Each movement conveys imagery associated with movies without referencing specific films. The subtitles say it all: "Adventure on the High Seas," "Extraterrestrial Experience," and "The Runaway Train Incident." Great for festivals!
