Catherine Rollin

Catherine Rollin is a composer and pianist whose career bridges performance and pedagogy with equal distinction. She has conducted workshops and masterclasses across North America and Asia, earning commissions from major organizations including the Music Teachers National Association, the Michigan Music Teachers Association, and Clavier Companion magazine. Her compositions have been recognized by the National Federation of Music Clubs and selected for festival bulletins.

Rollin holds a Bachelor of Musical Arts degree with distinction from the University of Michigan and a Master of Music degree from Oakland University School of Performing Arts. She has served as a national judge for the MTNA Student Composition Competition and on the panel for the Lynn Freeman Olson Composition Contest. Her ASCAP award-winning series Museum Masterpieces and commissioned works like Suite Detroit (premiered at the MTNA 2018 national conference) showcase her ability to write music that speaks to both performers and audiences.
