About the Arranger: Andy Beck
Andy Beck directs choral publications at Alfred Music and has built a catalog of more than 450 choral works, vocal resources, and children's musicals that are performed by singers around the world. His contributions to music education include several widely adopted sight-singing and vocal technique resources: Sing at First Sight, Foundations in Choral Sight Singing, and Vocalize! 45 Vocal Warm-Ups That Teach Technique.
Beyond the page, Beck maintains an active presence as a guest conductor, choreographer, adjudicator, and clinician at music schools and conferences across the United States and internationally. He has served as commissioned composer and guest conductor for honor choirs throughout the Southeast, including all-state ensembles. A trained tenor with degrees in music education from Ithaca College and Northwest Missouri State University, Beck continues to perform with the North Carolina Master Chorale Chamber Choir and has contributed vocal work to Alfred recordings since 1992.
