Randall Standridge studied composition at Arkansas State University under Dr. Tom O'Connor and Dr. Tim Crist, earning both his Bachelor's in Music Education and Master's in Music Composition. He spent over a decade as Director of Bands at Harrisburg High School in Arkansas before transitioning to full-time composition work in 2013.

Standridge's catalogue spans concert band, marching arts, and educational music published through multiple labels including Alfred Music and FJH Music. His compositions have earned recognition in the Teaching Music Through Performance in Band series, J.W. Pepper's Editor's Choice selections, and performances at the Midwest Clinic.
