Dan Adams

Dan Adams spent nearly three decades as Band and Orchestra director in Wooster City Schools, Ohio, where he also served as Instrumental Music Coordinator. Earlier in his career, he taught at Mount Anthony Union High School in Bennington, Vermont. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education from The Ohio State University (trombone) and a Master of Music in Band Conducting from Northwestern University, where he studied under John Paynter.

Adams has established himself as a respected adjudicator, brass performer, and conductor with deep roots in music education organizations including the Ohio Music Education Association, NAfME, ASCAP, and the College Band Directors National Association. His compositions have earned recognition at The Midwest Band Clinic and Western International Band Clinic, multiple Bandworld Top 100 selections, and numerous J.W. Pepper Editors' Choice awards.
