Ruth Morris Gray brings over two decades of classroom experience to her compositional work as Director of Choirs at Rosemead High School in California. Her dual expertise in piano performance and choral direction informs a catalog of more than 100 published compositions, many of which are written specifically for the ensembles and students she teaches daily. She holds degrees in Piano Performance and Composition from Biola University and a Master of Arts in Music Composition from UC Santa Barbara, along with her California Single Subject Music Credential.

Beyond the rehearsal hall and composing desk, Gray is an active performer and passionate advocate for music education. Her interests span travel, swimming, reading, and recreational cycling, pursuits she often shares with her husband, Douglas.
