About the Composer: Jon Bubbett

Jon Bubbett spent 26 years conducting at Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama, before retiring after 38 years of full-time teaching. His contributions to music education earned him six NBA Citations of Excellence and the Phi Beta Mu Rho Chapter 2015 "Bandmaster of the Year" Award.

Beyond the classroom, Bubbett has remained deeply engaged with the band world as a clinician, composer, and adjudicator across Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi. His published works appear through multiple publishers including Eighth Note Publications, and he continues to conduct the Celebration Winds Community Concert Band while maintaining active membership in ASCAP, the National Band Association, and other professional organizations.
