About the Composer: Rossano Galante
Rossano Galante studied trumpet performance at SUNY Buffalo, graduating in 1992, then earned admission to USC's Film Scoring Program that same year where he studied under Academy Award winner Jerry Goldsmith. Since relocating to California in 1999, he has served as orchestrator on over eighty studio films including Avengers: Age of Ultron, A Quiet Place, Logan, and The Super Mario Brothers Movie, collaborating with composers Marco Beltrami, Christophe Beck, Brian Tyler, and Christopher Lennertz.
Beyond his film work, Galante maintains an active concert music practice, having composed over 68 published works for band and orchestra across publishers including Alfred, Schirmer, Hafabra, C.L. Barnhouse, and Dehaske/Curnow. He regularly receives commissions from ensembles worldwide, blending his orchestration expertise with a gift for writing accessible, emotionally resonant concert music.
