Gray holds degrees in Piano Performance and Composition from Biola University and a Master's in Music Composition from UC Santa Barbara, training that informs her sophisticated yet singable writing. She earned her California teaching credential at Cal State Northridge and continues to balance her roles as composer, educator, and performer with a life enriched by travel, reading, and cycling.
