Emily Crocker

Emily Crocker spent 15 years teaching music in Texas public schools across all grade levels before transitioning into music publishing. She joined Hal Leonard in 1989 and shaped the company's choral catalog as VP of Choral Publications until her retirement in 2017 after nearly three decades with the publisher.

Beyond her publishing work, Crocker founded and directed the Milwaukee Children's Choir for 15 years and later established the Vocal Arts Academy of Milwaukee. Her compositions have earned performances worldwide, with particular recognition for her contributions to choral pedagogy and instructional materials. She currently lives in Fort Worth, Texas, where she continues composing and championing arts education.
