About the Arranger: Carol Brittin Chambers
Carol Brittin Chambers founded Aspenwood Music, LLC and serves on the music faculty at Texas Lutheran University in San Antonio, Texas. Her compositions and arrangements have earned recognition on the J.W. Pepper Editor's Choice List and Bandworld Top 100, with performances at major conferences including the Midwest Clinic. She was awarded the 2019 WBDI Composition Competition prize and has created marching show arrangements for high school, college, and drum corps programs across the country.
Chambers brings deep performance experience to her writing, having studied trumpet at Northwestern University under legendary teachers Vincent Cichowicz and Arnold Jacobs. Her background includes years of classroom teaching at the middle and high school levels and ongoing performance with regional symphonies. Her music education degree from Texas Tech University grounds her arrangements in what actually works in rehearsal rooms.
