About the Arranger: Jack Bullock

Jack Bullock brings decades of hands-on classroom experience to his arranging work. A doctoral graduate in Music Education, he taught instrumental music in secondary schools for 20 years and served as assistant band director and later department chair at Ithaca College's School of Music. His performance background spans trumpet study with accomplished artists and professional work with the Miami Philharmonic Orchestra, Miami Opera Company, and touring ensembles across the United States.

With over 600 published compositions and arrangements to his name, Bullock has become a trusted voice in beginning band literature. He co-authored the Belwin 21st Century Band Method and contributed arrangements to Music Expressions, Alfred Music's curriculum program. His work appears across concert band, orchestra, jazz ensemble, and marching band formats. Since 1980, he has maintained membership in ASCAP and continues to conduct clinics and workshops nationally and internationally.
