Vince Gassi brings a quarter-century of classroom experience to every score he writes. Educated at the University of Western Ontario and the Dick Grove School of Music, he later earned his Ph.D. in composition from York University. His output has grown to over 100 published works, many appearing on contest and festival programs across North America, Europe, and Japan.

Gassi's reputation extends beyond the page. He is a frequent guest conductor, adjudicator, and clinician who has led seminars on creative engagement and digital workflows for music directors.
