Ballad And Dance - Flute

MusicWorks - Grade 3. Here is a marvelously appealing work suitable for contest or concerts composed in two main sections. The melodic and reverent "Ballad" is richly scored and contains nicely contrasting instrumental colors. A spirited clapping pattern accompanies the woodwinds in the opening strains of the "Dance". The "Ballad" theme returns in a glorious grandioso setting to close out this well-crafted work. (5:40)
