About the Composer: Greg Gilpin

Greg Gilpin

Greg Gilpin holds the position of Director of Educational Choral Publications for Shawnee Press, where his work shapes repertoire for choirs across the country. An ASCAP award-winning composer and conductor, he has led performances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Ryman Auditorium, Sydney Opera House, Royal Festival Hall, and Harpa Concert Hall. His conducting and compositional reach spans major venues on three continents.

Beyond the music world, Gilpin expanded his expertise in 2020 by becoming a certified financial coach and professional organizer, launching Maestro Organizing and earning appearances on Fox, NBC, and the television series Hoarders. In 2021, he composed the score for the award-winning short film Rosie's Rescue, which earned Best Score recognition. He collaborated with opera singer Angela Brown on a new arrangement of What Child is This?, premiered with the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir. Gilpin remains active as a teacher, composer, and conductor, serving as a member of ACDA, NAfME, SAG-AFTRA, and as a Life Loyal Member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
