About the Arranger: Douglas E. Wagner
Douglas E. Wagner grew up in Chicago and earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in music from Butler University. After spending three decades as a high school music director and administrator, he committed himself fully to composition and arranging, becoming one of the most prolific creators in American music education.
Since 1973, Wagner has published over 3,500 works spanning choirs, concert bands, orchestras, handbell ensembles, organ, piano, and vocal music. His output has reached well beyond seventeen million copies purchased worldwide, with performances documented across concert halls, television, radio, and international broadcasts. He currently lives in Indianapolis with his wife, Sandy.
