Brendan McBrien's musical foundation began in California's public schools, where he studied French horn before pursuing formal training in composition and conducting at California State University, Long Beach. He spent three decades as a professional orchestral musician in Los Angeles and Orange County, performing for symphony orchestras, television, and film studios while simultaneously building a career as a published composer and arranger.
