Andy Beck

Andy Beck leads the choral publications division at Alfred Music and has established himself as one of the most widely performed choral arrangers in the country, with over 450 works in print spanning sacred and secular repertoire, children's musicals, and vocal resources. His educational materials including Sing at First Sight, Foundations in Choral Sight Singing, and Vocalize! 45 Vocal Warm-Ups That Teach Technique have shaped how countless students develop musicianship and technique.

Beyond the page, Beck maintains an active conducting and adjudication schedule, working with honor choirs and all-state groups throughout the Southeast and beyond. He holds degrees in Music Education from Ithaca College and Northwest Missouri State University, serves as a tenor with the North Carolina Master Chorale Chamber Choir, and brings decades of studio singing experience dating back to his earliest work with Alfred Music in 1992.
