A Christmas Suite

Vivid and nostalgic pictures of the hoilday season are painted by each of the three movements in this charming suite of original melodies. Moving through the keys of C, D, E, A and G with additional chromatic variations, "'Tis the Season!," "Window Shopping on Main Street" and "Through the Snow to Grandma's" each create a festive, carefree mood which is perfect secular holiday fare. Bowing techniques range from detaché to spiccato and ranges are within first position for all except Violin I which ventures into third momentarily. (Optional advanced position work is added for advanced players.)
