David Glen Hatch

Four-time Grammy nominee, international concert and recording artist and master teacher of piano, David Glen Hatch, enjoys a distinguished career on six continents. His performance as guest artist with the Ukrainian National Symphony in Kyiv celebrated the 100-year anniversary of the birth of world- renowned pianist, Vladimir Horowitz. A vast discography of Hatch’s recordings contains labels—Sony/BMG-Europe, Centaur, Critics Choice, AUR, and Covenant, with a recent 2-CD Centaur release of Brahms Concerto No.1 and Rubinstein Concerto No. 4 with New Zealand’s Christchurch Symphony and marketed internationally by Naxos. 

Dr. Hatch is listed as one of the Best Teachers in America in volumes of Who’s Who Among American Music Teachers and International Who’s Who in Music and awarded the Master Teacher certificate in 1994 by MTNA. Nominated National Teacher for 2021 by MTNA, his students have been winners of state, regional, national, and international competitions. Additionally, he has served on the Board of Trustees of the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competitions and Foundation, USA.

Dr. Hatch’s lecture and master class presentations include World Piano Conferences and Music Conservatories in Serbia, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, New Zealand, Tasmania, China, Japan, France, Austria, Germany, England, Peru, Chile, and the United States. His performances and interviews have aired on classical radio and television stations—PBS (USA), TVE (Spain), BBC (UK), South Africa, Bulgaria, Norway, China, and Australia. His publications comprise ten piano arrangement volumes for Alfred and Jackman Music, the book, Praiseworthy Music and Spiritual Moments, and keyboard articles for Clavier magazine.
