Stephanie Collins

Ms. Stephanie Collins is the music teacher at James A. Caywood Elementary where she is in her seventeeth year of teaching.  She graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education in 1984 with emphasis in piano and voice.  She received her Masters of Fine Arts in Education from NKU in 2006.  Ms. Collins is accompanist for several middle and high school choirs in her school district, as well as the award winning Independence Youth Choir.  She also enjoys accompanying for her middle and high school band and vocal students for the district Solo & Ensemble competitions.   She has also accompanied for Northern Kentucky Honor Choir performances, weddings, and musical theater productions.  Ms. Collins favorite activity is directing her 4th and 5th Grade Chorus at James A. Caywood Elementary in Edgewood, Kentucky.  The Chorus is very active in performing in the surrounding communities for special events throughout the school year!  Needless to say, Ms. Collins truly enjoys sharing music with her students and others!
